Automate the Dropship Process to Create Approved Blanket Agreement Release from the Drop Ship Order (Part 2)

Approved Supplier List Setup

Let us setup the Approved Supplier to the item above which is part of blanket purchase agreement.

The Create Release will take the source agreement details from this setup to create the release for the blanket purchase agreement.

Go to Navigation: Purchasing Super User -> Supply Base -> Approved Supplier List.

This setup is organization specific. Select the organization XXX for instance which will be our receiving Org from the DropShip.

The below Form Opens

Enter the below details

Item type:  Item

Item:   XX

Supplier:   XXXX

Site:   XXX

Status:  Approved

 

Save the changes made. Click on Attribute Button to enter the Source Document type.

Enter the below details

Release Method:  ‘Automatic Release’.

Under Source Documents Tab,

Type:   Blanket Purchase Agreement

Number:  302020 (Created in above steps)

Line:  1

 

 

Save the changes made.

Now all the setups are done. Let us create the Drop Shipment Order and Process towards Blanket Release.

Create DropShip Sales Order

Navigation: Order management Super User -> Orders, Returns -> Sales Orders.

Create a sales order with the item we setup Approved Supplier List.

 

 

Scheduled Purchase Release will create requisition for this Sales order and

Scheduled Import Requisition program will import the requisition to Purchase Module.

Here the approved requisition got created.

 

 

Now requisition is created. The scheduled ‘Create Release’ Program will create the Release

On the Purchase Agreement ‘302020’ mentioned in the above setup.

We can query the release from the Purchase Order Summary

 

We can verify the order details in the Dropship tab
